Review: Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

I have only heard great things about this foundation. Everybody online raves about how it is their staple foundation. When I was in Sephora last week, I asked for a sample of it. I was so excited to see what all of the hype was about. I was sure I was going to love it!

I put it on the next day and at first I loved it. I was sure this was going to be my next purchase. Although, one thing that did bother me at first was that I could feel it on my face. I have never liked the feeling of makeup on my face. 

About two hours later my face had this weird feeling, almost tingling. I looked in the mirror and I was blotchy. I couldn't believe it. My face has never had a reaction like this before. I couldn't wait to take it off. The entire day my face felt heavy and tingling. 

Again, with all the hype surrounded by this product, I refused to hate it. I tried it the next day to give it a second chance, hoping I would love it. The same thing happened. I do not have sensitive skin, so I find it odd that my face would have a reaction like this. 

I feel like I am the only one that has had this problem, considering all the people I have heard rave about this foundation. 

I advise everyone to try a sample before purchasing this product! It is quite expensive (around $40) and I am so glad I didn't take the plunge and invest in it before trying it.

You can bandage the damage, you never really can fix a heart.

The resentment is never ending. I will never admit how much I still hurt. I don't miss him, never will go back. I still feel like my heart is breaking every time I look into his eyes. Takes me back to the night when he took my hand and I finally felt peace. "It's like you're pouring salt on my cuts."

It all finally ended. The bittersweet feeling, relief, but an overwhelming amount of pain.

"After all you put me through, you'd think I'd despise you. But in the end, I wanna thank you, because you made me that much stronger."

Top 10 MAC eyeshadows

I have two full MAC eye shadow pallets. I have been collecting for about two years, so it did take awhile to fill them up. The following 10 eye shadows are my favorite ones out of the two pallets.

I have put a lot of time and money into buying and using these eye shadows. My collection is still growing, and I am always on the lookout for new eye shadows (or any sort of makeup for that matter) to fall in love with. My favorite eye shadows change daily according to my mood, but these are the ones that I always love and come back to.
